Job summary

Accura Engineering & Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Construction Control Representative to support Fort Hood, TX projects.

The role oversees on-site quality assurance, monitors contractor performance, and ensures compliance with contract requirements from pre-construction through closeout. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 5+ years in large construction, and DoD/USACE project experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience on large, complex construction projects.
• Experience with federal DoD/USACE projects strongly preferred.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, shop drawings, and technical specs.

Responsibilities

• Observe and inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with plans, specs, schedules, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Perform daily site inspections and document activities using RMS or similar systems.
• Monitor construction schedules and notify project team of potential delays or issues.
• Review submittals, shop drawings, quality control plans, safety plans, environmental plans, and progress schedules.
• Assist in coordinating RFIs and responses with designers and engineers.
• Prepare correspondence regarding contractor performance and contract issues.
• Maintain project records, logs, and inspection documentation; support closeout activities.
