Job summary

EDP Renewables North America LLC is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to oversee the construction of company-owned assets by third-party contractors. The role ensures safety, quality, schedule, and budget adherence while coordinating with engineering, procurement, and construction teams across wind and solar projects in North America.

The candidate will develop project scope, budgets, and timelines, manage CPM schedules, and report progress to management weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years experience in project management.
• Minimum 3 years experience managing rooftop solar PV projects at least 500kWdc and FT/SAT ground-mount projects at least 3MWdc.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Procore, Bluebeam and Smartsheets preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure project adherence to safety, quality, schedule and budget to complete within timeline.
• Understand regulatory, permitting and local utility requirements for projects.
• Develop project scope, budget and timelines.
• Coordinate with internal teams for engineering, procurement and construction.
• Review engineering drawings and manage contracts with vendors and external consultants.
