Job summary

EDF power solutions in San Diego, CA, seeks a Sr. Pre-Construction Manager to lead regional pre-construction for Solar, wind, energy storage, and HV projects. Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in renewables EPC market and project development.
• Experience negotiating with EPC contractors on large-scale contracts (> $100M).
• Knowledge of renewable energy project offtake and financing structures.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills across technical and business audiences.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and data tools (Tableau familiarity).
• English and French language abilities are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional pre-construction efforts for Solar, On-Shore Wind, HV, and Energy Storage projects.
• Oversee procurement of EPC services from RFP to contract execution; assess bids against estimates and KPIs.
• Drive continuous improvement through process/tool development and LCOE reduction initiatives.
• Manage relationships with EPC-contractor networks and qualification processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders; support permitting, offtake, and handover activities.
