Job summary

W.E. O'Neil Construction is seeking a Project Manager in Chicago, IL to lead a major construction project from inception through completion.

You will manage the project team, budgets, GMPs, and schedules to achieve on-time delivery and profitability. The role requires coordinating with Estimating and preconstruction, overseeing safety programs, and maintaining comprehensive project documentation across CMiC, PlanGrid, and other tools.

Qualifications

• The project manager leads the project team from inception through completion.
• The role requires managing budgets, GMPs, schedules and costs.
• Experience with overseeing safety programs and quality control is essential.
• Strong ability to review change orders, forecasts and cash flow.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project team from inception to completion to ensure on-time delivery.
• Develop cost controls, budgets, and cash flow reports.
• Coordinate with Estimating and preconstruction on GMP and bid strategy.
• Manage subcontractor buyouts, change orders and invoicing.
• Ensure site safety programs and quality control are implemented.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations and forecast costs for the project.
• Oversee documentation in CMiC, PlanGrid, and related systems.
• Represent WEO in meetings with Owner, Subcontractors and coordination teams.
