W.E. O'Neil is seeking a Project Engineer in Chicago, IL to support the project team in administration and management of construction activities.

You will assist with setup, documentation, and coordination across CMiC, PlanGrid and BIM workflows, ensuring timely material deliveries and closeout documentation. Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Basic scheduling understanding and CMiC experience.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam, PlanGrid, Safety Mojo, BIM 360 Glue.

Responsibilities

• Assist with job office set up.
• Prepare and maintain Submittal Logs.
• Set up CMiC and PlanGrid for project documents.
• Oversee RFI Logs and as-builts updates.
• Coordinate with field teams to ensure material deliveries.
• Manage the submittal process with subcontractors and design team.
• Attend BIM meetings and develop a coordinated model.
• Prepare meeting minutes and closeout binders.
• Support safety and quality plan development.
