Construction Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to plan and supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish. You will organize and oversee construction projects and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner. This role is hands‑on, requires autonomy, quick decision‑making, and strong communication to maintain project momentum and quality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple concurrent projects, ensuring operational efficiency from pre‑bid to project closeout.
• This hands‑on role requires autonomy, quick decision‑making, and effective communication to maintain project momentum and quality.
• Manage 6–10 projects, maintaining schedules, budgets, and quality standards while conducting site visits for safety and progress monitoring.
• Help hire, train, and oversee a small self‑perform crew.
• Oversee change orders, RFIs, punch lists, and closeout packages.
• Lead estimating and bidding processes, review plans, and coordinate subcontractors and vendors to secure competitive quotes and manage performance.
• Serve as the primary client contact, providing updates and ensuring clear communication throughout project execution.

Requirements

• 10+ years of construction experience with increasing responsibility
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously ($25K–$1M)
• Strong background in estimating, bidding, subcontractor coordination, and field execution
• Ability to read plans, understand means & methods, and manage jobsite sequencing
• Proficient with construction management software

• Familiarity with municipal permitting; federal experience is a plus
