Charlie Mike Recruiting is seeking a Construction Project Manager to join a leading construction firm in Chicago. You will oversee projects from planning through completion, managing timelines, budgets, and resources while coordinating with subcontractors and stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-scope delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with experience managing large-scale construction projects and proficiency in MS Project or Procore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management or a similar role.
• PMP or similar project management certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Project Planning: Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines and resource allocation.
• Budget Management: Oversee project budgets and financial tracking.
• Team Leadership: Coordinate construction teams, subcontractors, vendors, and internal personnel.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the main contact for clients, architects, engineers, and regulators.
• Quality Control: Ensure work meets industry standards and safety regulations.
• Risk Management: Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Permitting and Compliance: Oversee permitting and regulatory approvals.
• Schedule Management: Monitor timelines and adjust plans as needed.
• Reporting: Submit regular project reports and budget updates.
