Job summary

Charlie Mike Recruiting partners with a leading construction company to hire a Construction Project Manager in Portland, OR. You will oversee complex projects from planning to completion, manage timelines and budgets, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, 5+ years of PM experience, and proficiency with Procore or MS Project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction PM or similar role.
• Proven track record managing large-scale commercial or residential projects.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, safety standards, and building codes.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore).
• PMP or similar certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed project plans with timelines and resource allocation.
• Oversee project budgets and financial tracking.
• Lead construction teams, subcontractors, vendors, and internal personnel.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and regulators; provide progress updates.
• Ensure work meets industry standards, safety protocols, and client expectations.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to prevent delays or cost overruns.
• Oversee permitting process and ensure regulatory approvals.
• Monitor schedules and adjust plans to meet deadlines.
• Prepare and submit regular project reports and final reviews.
