Job summary

Hoar Construction is seeking a Project Manager in Texas to lead scheduling, budgeting, quality and safety for a major construction project in partnership with the Superintendent. You will coordinate subcontractors, contracts, client expectations, and project risk to deliver on time and within budget.

Responsibilities include planning meetings, developing project plans, monitoring progress, managing change orders and cash flow, and maintaining contract files.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in large, complex facility construction on-site.
• Proficiency with MS Office and scheduling software (Suretrak, Project, P6, Procore, Revit, VICO).
• LEED accreditation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend planning meetings and project status meetings.
• Develop and maintain the project plan by producing reports and managing change orders and cash flow.
• Develop all project administration and correspondence.
• Develop industry relationships and expand networks for future opportunities.
• Maintain a complete understanding of contract documents and budget.
• Oversee submittals, RFIs, RFPs, and procurement; manage budget and cost reporting.
• Lead owner-architect-contractor meetings and monitor project status.
