Job summary

Hoar Construction is seeking a Senior Superintendent to provide on-site leadership, planning, and coordination for construction projects. You will work with Project Managers to manage staff and subs, ensuring work aligns with contract, schedule, and budget, while prioritizing safety and quality. Travel up to 100% may be required.

The role involves overseeing field operations, mentoring personnel, and driving project milestones from site start to finish in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience as a Superintendent or 1 year as a Senior Superintendent on construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, cost control and safety procedures.
• Experience leading diverse field teams and coordinating subs.

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain information and produce reports on personnel, production, and logs.
• Coordinate daily field objectives, timelines, and goals.
• Read construction documents to plan procedures.
• Oversee safety on site through inspections, trainings, and meetings.
• Monitor progress, review processes for quality and efficiency.
• Mentor and develop employees; lead field staff and subcontractors.
• Manage schedule and budget with superintendents; coordinate recovery plans as needed.
