Job summary

Hoar is seeking a Project Manager to lead a construction project, coordinating schedule, budget, quality and safety with the Superintendent. The role emphasizes subcontractor management, contract negotiations, client expectations and risk mitigation on complex facilities.

You will attend planning and status meetings, develop the project plan, and produce reports, change orders and pay applications. Strong communication with owners and teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required in building science, construction management, civil engineering or related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in large, complex facility construction and on-site management.
• Strong budgeting, procurement and contract oversight experience.

Responsibilities

• Attend planning meetings and project status meetings.
• Develop and maintain the project plan with reports, projections and change orders.
• Prepare project administration, correspondence and letters.
• Build industry relationships and expand networks for future opportunities.
• Maintain understanding of contract documents and job cost reporting.
• Oversee submittals, RFIs, RFPs, and procurement.
• Coordinate delivery of materials and participate in owner-architect-contractor meetings.
