Job summary

Hoar Construction in Orlando, FL seeks a Project Manager to supervise schedules, budgets, quality and safety on complex facility construction projects. You will manage subcontractors, contract negotiations, client expectations and procurement to minimize risk.

You will lead planning meetings, maintain the project plan, manage change orders and keep stakeholders informed, while developing relationships to generate future opportunities and ensuring proper contract administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field required.
• 5-8 years of experience in large, complex facility construction and on-site management; healthcare construction preferred.
• Detailed knowledge of budgeting, accounting and procurement to manage a construction project.
• Proficiency with scheduling software: Suretrak, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Procore, Revit, VICO.
• LEED accreditation preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Attend planning meetings and project status meetings.
• Develop and maintain the project plan, status reports, monthly projections, change orders and pricing.
• Develop all project administration, correspondence, letters, etc.
• Develop industry relationships and expand networks for future opportunities.
• Maintain contract files and project documentation.
• Oversee submittals, RFIs, RFPs, SWAs, EWO's, PCO's and material procurement.
• Coordinate delivery of materials to job sites.
• Lead owner-architect-contractor meetings and monitor status.
• Ensure project closeout is organized with complete documentation.
