Job summary

Greystar seeks a seasoned Construction Project Manager to drive on‑time, on‑budget completion of ground‑up development projects. You will oversee construction activities, budgets, schedules, safety, and reporting, coordinating with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to deliver results.

You will build and lead onsite teams, monitor progress, address issues, and provide regular updates to leadership and equity partners, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience on ground up construction projects.
• Minimum 3 years experience managing a team and subcontractors.
• Strong time management, leadership and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication, including delegation.
• Proven ability to build relationships with team members, subcontractors and owners.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development and construction activities by reviewing blueprints, inspecting work, and overseeing contractors to ensure on‑time, on‑budget completion.
• Monitor budgets by reviewing invoices, analyzing spending, and ensuring policy compliance.
• Develop and manage project timetable and completion schedule, anticipating delays and proposing solutions.
• Supervise site work, ensure safety standards and plan compliance, adjust staffing as needed.
• Provide regular progress reports to leaders, equity partners, and stakeholders; respond to information requests promptly.
• Assist in assembling the onsite construction team and manage contractor performance.
