Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Senior Project Manager to build an in-house construction team and oversee a pipeline of industrial projects in the Mid Atlantic region. You will guide project teams, plan effectively, and ensure cost-efficient, on-schedule delivery.

The role emphasizes leadership, mentoring, and collaboration with stakeholders, subcontractors, and field teams; candidates should drive safety and quality across all phases.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years on ground up construction projects.
• Minimum 5 years leading teams and subcontractors.
• Strong time management and leadership abilities.
• Highly organized planning and scheduling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, delegating and negotiating.

Responsibilities

• Guide projects and teams through all construction phases.
• Conduct site inspections and address issues; modify plans, schedule, staffing, or budget as needed.
• Promote safety culture and mentor others.
• Prepare bid packages; review bids; negotiate contracts with contractors and vendors.
• Lead value engineering and constructability reviews for cost control.
• Manage RFI, submittal, change order processes; align budgets with specs.
• Create and update project timelines; ensure material and labor availability.
• Develop and maintain budgets and timelines for each project.
• Oversee subcontractor and owner pay processes.
• Communicate progress to leaders and partners; plan actions for on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Lead meetings and develop team through hiring, onboarding, and training.
• Mentor other Project Managers and handle additional duties as needed.
