Job summary

Greystar in the United States is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead ground-up development and new construction projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery while coordinating design, field teams, and subcontractors.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, budgeting, scheduling, and safety oversight, with opportunities to collaborate with senior leaders and equity partners on complex projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience on ground-up construction projects.
• Minimum 3 years managing a team and subcontractors.
• Strong time management, leadership and decision-making skills.
• Highly organized with planning and scheduling abilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication, delegation and negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development and construction activities by reviewing blueprints, inspecting work, and overseeing contractors to meet budget and schedule.
• Monitor budget by reviewing invoices, financial statements, and allocating resources per company policies.
• Develop and manage project timetable, adjust for delays, and advise on solutions.
• Supervise site activity, ensure safety, adjust staffing to stay on schedule and within budget.
• Provide regular progress updates to leaders and partners, and respond to information requests promptly.
• Assist in assembling onsite construction team and manage performance per policy.
