Job summary

Greystar seeks a Construction Project Manager to ensure on-time and on-budget completion of ground-up development projects, managing construction, manpower, financials, and safety, with reporting to leadership.

Essential responsibilities include reviewing blueprints, overseeing contractors, managing budgets, scheduling, and coordinating site activities while maintaining strong relationships with owners and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience on ground-up construction projects similar in scope.
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing a team and subcontractors.
• Strong time management, leadership and decision-making skills.
• Highly organized with ability to plan, schedule, and track complex work.
• Excellent written and oral communication, including delegation and negotiation.
• Proven ability to build relationships with team members, subcontractors and owners.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development and new construction projects by reviewing blueprints, inspecting work, and overseeing contractors to ensure on-time, on-budget completion and safety compliance.
• Monitor and manage project budgets by reviewing invoices, analyzing financial statements, and ensuring alignment with company policies.
• Develop and manage project timetables, adjust for delays, and provide schedule-based recommendations.
• Supervise site work, monitor contractor performance, and ensure adherence to plans and safety standards.
• Provide regular progress updates to leaders, equity partners, and project contacts with timely responses to information requests.
• Assist in assembling onsite teams, engage contractors and subcontractors, and manage performance per company policies.
