Job summary

Greystar is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead ground‑up development and new construction initiatives. You will drive project execution from blueprint review through final delivery, oversee contractors, and ensure safety, quality, and budget adherence across multiple sites in the Seattle area.

The role requires strong leadership, scheduling, and communication skills, with responsibilities spanning budgeting, vendor management, and cross‑functional reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in ground up construction projects
• Proven ability to manage teams and subcontractors
• Strong time management and decision‑making skills
• Excellent written and oral communication, delegation and negotiation abilities

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development and construction activities, review blueprints, inspect work, and oversee contractors to ensure on‑time, on‑budget completion
• Monitor budget by reviewing invoices, financial statements, and spending; ensure policy compliance
• Develop and manage project timetable, handle delays and schedule changes, and advise on resolutions
• Supervise onsite work, monitor safety, adjust staffing to stay on schedule and within budget
• Provide regular progress updates to leaders and partners, respond to information requests promptly
• Assist in assembling onsite team, engage contractors, and manage performance
• Complete reports and analyses across HR, finance and admin duties
