Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Dallas is seeking a Project Manager 2 to provide overall direction on moderately complex construction projects. This role will fully implement and manage project operation and administration in support of the company’s strategy and values.

You will lead the safety culture, support preconstruction efforts, manage submittals and change orders, coordinate with stakeholders, and drive schedule and budget to ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 7+ years construction management experience and ability to manage complex projects.
• Strong communication, leadership and financial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and manage site safety practices and incident investigation.
• Oversee preconstruction activities including scope, pricing and bid packages.
• Develop and manage project schedules, buyout and subcontractor coordination.
• Review submittals, shop drawings and material pricing; coordinate changes.
• Monitor project budget and profitability; prepare regular reports to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with owner, design team, vendors and field personnel.
