Job summary

JE Dunn Construction, via its Advanced Facilities Group, is seeking a Project Manager for our core PM family to lead safety culture, preconstruction efforts, and submittal processes on major industrial and data center projects. You will drive schedule, cost control, and subcontract management while coordinating with owners, design teams, and subcontractors.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field and 5+ years of construction management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 5+ years construction management experience.
• In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of the company’s safety culture and creates awareness by demonstrating commitment to an injury‑free environment through individual actions and mentoring others.
• Manages the prestart process and supports preconstruction activities including quantity takeoff, trade coordination and scope development.
• Leads plan and implementation of buyout schedule; verifies pricing and scope, identifies successful bidders, provides gap analysis against initial scope and manages subcontract issuance.
• Manages submittal schedule setup; coordinates priorities, reviews shop drawings and samples for submittal to architects/engineers.
• Prepares project schedule with Project Superintendent; develops and updates schedule for preconstruction and construction activities; manages materials and procurement logs.
