Job summary

Hoar Construction is seeking a Project Manager to lead schedule, budget, quality, safety and client relationships on a major construction project in Austin, TX. You will plan and coordinate all aspects of the construction process to effectively manage risk, coordinating with the Superintendent and subcontractors.

Responsibilities include attending planning and status meetings, developing the project plan with projections and change orders, and ensuring proper closeout and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of large, complex facility construction experience on-site.
• Knowledge of budgeting, accounting and procurement to manage a construction project.
• MS Office and scheduling software (Suretrak, Project, P6, Procore, Revit, VICO) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Attend planning meetings and project status meetings.
• Develop and maintain the project plan by producing summary status reports, issuing monthly projections, and change orders.
• Develop all project administration, correspondence, letters etc.
• Develop industry relationships and expand professional networks for future opportunities.
• Maintain a complete understanding of job contracts and documents.
• Maintain the Job Cost Report, ledgers, and budget.
• Oversee the work of assistant project managers and provide training.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, RFPS, SWAs, EWO's, PCOs, and material procurement.
• Coordinate delivery of materials to job sites.
• Organize and attend project meetings and distribute minutes.
• Maintain continuous client contact to gauge performance and communicate information.
• Lead regular owner-architect-contractor meetings.
