Job summary

The Austin Company is seeking a Senior Superintendent to organize and supervise all construction activities on larger projects, ensuring compliance with documents, codes, and budgets. You will lead Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents, directing tasks to subcontractors and crews to achieve results.

You will review costs related to scope changes, maintain daily field reports, and generate progress summaries.

Qualifications

• 10 or more years of construction field operations experience and/or skilled trades leadership.
• A 4-year degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Function as the overall field lead on projects of varying size and responsibility.
• Ensure safety procedures related to construction activities on site.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and crews to promote safety and efficiency in construction activities.
• Ensure the project is constructed in accordance with contract documents, schedule, and at the lowest possible cost.
• Develop and maintain positive work relationships with clients and subcontractors for timely communication.
