Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction in Tempe, AZ is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex projects up to $15 million. You will oversee safety, budgets, schedules, and coordination with trade contractors and the superintendent to deliver timely, quality results.

The role requires a bachelor's in construction management (or related field) and 6+ years of leadership on large construction projects, plus proficiency with Procore, MS Project, Primavera P6, and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field with 6+ years of PM experience on projects >$5M.
• Proficiency with scheduling, spreadsheets, cost control, and project management software (Procore, MS Project, P6).
• Strong knowledge of value engineering, life cycle costing, and project profit/cost processes.
• Experience with multiple contract types under CMR and Design-Build.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to ensure safety, budgets, schedules and coordination with trade contractors and superintendent.
• Review shop drawings, RFIs, and ASIs for coordination and implementation of requirements.
• Prepare and update the detailed construction schedule with the superintendent.
• Lead project estimate reviews, start-up, interim, and close-out meetings; manage cost/trends.
