Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Permanent Project Manager in Portland, OR to lead construction projects from inception to completion. You will manage budgets, contracts, and schedules, coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver quality results on time and within scope.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction project management, a related bachelor’s degree, and strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years as a Project Manager in construction.
• Strong budgeting, contract management, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of project life cycle from conception to closure.
• Develop comprehensive project plans with resource allocation.
• Manage budgets to ensure cost efficiency.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
• Ensure on-time delivery within scope and budget.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders and team members about progress.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Conduct regular project review meetings and prepare status reports.
