Job summary

Jobot seeks a driven Construction Project Manager to lead planning, design, and execution of municipal, healthcare, and commercial projects. You will liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to keep projects on time and within budget.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in construction PM, strong knowledge of materials and safety, and proven leadership. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a construction project management role.
• Proven experience in municipal, healthcare, and commercial construction projects.
• Prior self-perform construction experience for trades such as carpentry and concrete a plus.
• Prior design-build experience a plus.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
• Excellent project management skills including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in project management software.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and build strong teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of project life cycle from initiation to closure.
• Establish project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines with stakeholders.
• Develop comprehensive project plans and manage resources.
• Control budgets and ensure delivery within the allocated funds.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and construction specialists.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Implement project communications plan and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Address issues or delays during construction.
• Conduct project reviews and create detailed executive reports.
• Continuously optimize processes and approaches as needed.
