Job summary

Kraus-Anderson seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead designated construction projects in Minnesota. You will plan, direct and coordinate activities with superintendents and coordinators to meet goals within budget and schedule.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of related experience, with strong MS Office and project management software skills. You will work closely with owners, architects and the planning team to ensure top quality and value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 7 years related work experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and coordinate project activities to meet goals and funding parameters.
• Establish work plans, staffing, and schedules for each phase of the project.
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications to guide project execution.
• Develop and maintain a network of subcontractors and vendors for project success.
• Coordinate with project staff to ensure progress within budget and deadlines.
• Negotiate with Owners and subs to maintain efficient project operations.
• Prepare project reports for management and clients; adjust plans as needed.
• Mentor and develop internal talent and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
