Kraus-Anderson invites qualified professionals to join our Minneapolis-based team as a Project Manager. This role plans, directs and coordinates designated construction projects to meet goals within time and budget, working with superintendents and coordinators.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience, a four-year degree in construction-related field, and proficiency with MS Office and ViewPoint software.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience or equivalent of education and/or experience.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and knowledge of project management software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining customer service.
• Ability to manage time productively and meet goals.

Responsibilities

• Review project proposals, plans and specifications to determine time frame, funding and resources.
• Establish work plans, scheduling and staffing for each phase of the project.
• Read and understand drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate activities with project staff to ensure progress within budget.
• Negotiate with Owner and subcontractors to maintain efficiency.
• Prepare project reports for management and clients.
