Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Coordinator in Des Moines, IA to act as the operational anchor across the construction lifecycle.

You will handle contract administration, document control, project financials, and closeout workflows, coordinating PMs, superintendents and subcontractors. Ideal candidates bring 4–6 years of field operations experience in commercial construction, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to learn industry software programs.

Qualifications

• Collaboration within a team structure is essential.
• Self-motivation to complete all aspects of the project with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication, plus analytical skills.
• Prior administrative or construction-industry experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to learn industry software (e.g., Proliance, Procore, DocuSign, Textura, Oracle JD Edwards, Nexus, Concur, Box, WebEx).

Responsibilities

• Assist with contract administration, document control and project financials.
• Manage shop drawings, submittals and design document processes.
• Draft subcontracts and change orders for PM review.
• Coordinate subcontractor insurance and registrations; process project invoices.
• Maintain web-based project management system and paperless document workflow.
• Assist with RFP requests and procurement activities.
• Support project closeout, punch lists and O&M manuals distribution.
• Attend internal meetings and generate project meeting minutes.
