Job summary

Clark Construction Group in Seattle is seeking a Senior Project Controls Analyst to serve as a trusted financial resource for construction projects and act as the primary liaison between operations and corporate finance. The role covers financial reporting, compliance, and processing for projects ranging from $20 million to $1 billion in contract value.

Key duties include on-site collaboration, owner requisitions, monthly cost reports, cash-flow forecasting, and change-order reconciliation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Construction Management, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or other business-related fields, or similar relevant work experience.
• 2-3+ years of relevant experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Careful attention to detail and reliability of output
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced team environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Project Manager/Project Executive with input from the lead Project Controls Manager
• Collaborate with project team and trade partners on site
• Compile owner requisitions and resolve internal audit findings
• Process subcontractor requisitions and AP
• Monitor materials purchasing and equipment inventory
• Manage field payroll and project setup/closeout
• Review owner contracts and securing permits/insurance
• Prepare monthly project financial forecasts and cost reports
• Track KPIs and drive process improvements
• Monitor cash-flow, change orders, and project reporting
• Lead contract administration, procurement, schedule, and financial reporting
