Job summary

Kokosing is seeking a seasoned Civil Construction Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate activities on industrial projects in Michigan. You will lead project engineers, superintendents, and foremen, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget adherence while maintaining strong client liaison.

We seek candidates with 7+ years of experience in construction management; a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is required, PE is not required but a strong plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management required.
• 7+ years of construction, design, finance, and management experience.
• PE credentialing is not required but a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and maintain liaison with prime client to facilitate construction activities.
• Establish project objectives, policies and performance standards within corporate policy.
• Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure on-schedule, on-budget progress.
• Review status reports and modify schedules as needed.
• Lead project team in daily field coordination, weekly meetings and safety kickoff.
• Mentor and develop other team members.
