Job summary

Kokosing, a leading General Contractor, seeks a seasoned Project Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate construction activities for industrial projects including water/wastewater plants and data centers.

You will lead project engineers, superintendents, and foremen, manage budgets and schedules, and liaise with clients and government agencies to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is required.
• PE credentialing is not required but a strong plus.
• 7+ years of experience/knowledge of construction, design, finance and management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to interpret safety laws and company policies/standards.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and maintain liaison with prime client to facilitate construction activities.
• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within corporate policy.
• Direct and coordinate activities to ensure work progresses on schedule and within budget.
• Lead project team in daily field coordination meetings, weekly block schedule meetings, and monthly safety kickoff meetings.
• Manage financial aspects of contracts and responsibility for project profit or loss.
