Job summary

Red Cedar Construction Services, LLC seeks a Senior Project Manager - Construction to own the full lifecycle of multifamily and commercial projects from award to closeout. You will lead planning, procurement, and field execution, enforcing Procore, Sage 300, and P6 systems to protect margin and ensure timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of GC experience with P&L responsibility, strong contract knowledge, and a PMP-leaning mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing commercial construction with P&L responsibility.
• Familiarity with Procore, Sage 300, P6/MS Project scheduling; strong documentation discipline.
• Strong knowledge of AIA contract structures, lien laws, and construction notice requirements (NC preferred).
• PMP certification is preferred; OSHA 30 required or to be obtained within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Own the full project lifecycle from award through closeout with accountability for cost, schedule, and owner relations.
• Lead project startup, baseline schedule development, and look-ahead planning with field teams.
• Manage subcontractor buyout, cost control, bid reviews, and change order management.
• Maintain logs, RFIs, submittals, and notices; ensure documentation is complete and compliant.
• Coordinate weekly OAC meetings, progress reviews, and risk mitigation with leadership.
