Job summary

Red Cedar Construction Services, LLC is seeking a Construction Project Manager to own the project delivery lifecycle from contract through closeout. You will manage margins, procurement, scheduling, and owner communication, operating within RCCS’s structured GC platform.

The role collaborates daily with field Superintendents, Preconstruction, and Contract Administration, leading teams to enforce systems and maintain project documentation. 40+ hours, onsite in Charlotte, with growth potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing commercial construction projects with full P&L responsibility.
• Proficiency in Procore and QuickBooks or equivalent construction ERP; working knowledge of MS Project scheduling.
• Strong working knowledge of AIA contract structures, lien law, and construction notice requirements in NC/SC.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management credential preferred; OSHA 30 required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Own the full project lifecycle from contract execution to closeout and protect margins.
• Lead project startup, schedule baselining, and controls setup in Procore and Sage.
• Manage subcontractor buyout, bids, and scope coverage; ensure accurate cost forecasting and monthly WIP reports.
• Coordinate change orders with written notices and owner authorization; maintain change order log.
• Direct field operations with the Superintendent, document control, and weekly reviews; ensure safety and quality standards.
