Job summary

McGough Construction seeks a Project Manager in Rapid City to lead full project lifecycles, manage financials, and ensure client satisfaction across owners, design partners, and subcontractors.

You will mentor Asst. PMs and PEs, perform quantity take-offs, and drive scope changes while maintaining schedule integrity and project profitability. Strong communication and Excel proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Construction Management or related field.
• 5+ years of related project management experience.
• Experience with self-perform capabilities.
• Ability to build strong partnerships with owners, owner’s representatives, design firms, and subcontractors.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Ability to manage scope changes and perform quantity take-offs.

Responsibilities

• Overall project success and financial management.
• Client satisfaction and relationship management with owners, design partners, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Lead scope changes, quantity take-offs, and tracking revisions.
• Mentor and coach Asst. PMs and PEs to develop project leadership.
• Develop CPM schedules and assist with estimating and bidding.
• Lead preconstruction activities and manage project documentation, RFIs, and submittals.
