Job summary

McGough is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead QA/QC across construction projects from Rapid City, SD. You will establish quality procedures, oversee inspections, coordinate testing, and ensure conformance with contract documents and codes.

You will mentor quality personnel, analyze trends, and drive continuous improvement while coordinating with project teams, trade partners, and owners to promote proactive planning and accountability.

Qualifications

• Experience in field leadership on construction projects and ability to coach teams.
• Strong knowledge of building constructability across all features.
• Experience managing subcontracted testing firms and scope buyouts.
• Familiar with QA/QC processes and construction software (Bluebeam/Procore).

Responsibilities

• Create & implement the QA/QC management system on site.
• Review contract requirements and ensure they are met.
• Coordinate QA/QC site weekly meetings with subcontractors.
• Update as-built drawings and maintain QA/QC documentation.
• Ensure compliance with codes and client requirements.
• Lead investigations and develop reports for quality issues.
