Job summary

lusternational is seeking Office Engineers at multiple skill levels to support large-scale heavy civil projects in California. The role oversees submittals, RFIs, contract records, pay applications, and change documentation to keep payment, time, and entitlement decisions current for audits or reviews.

You will maintain records, review pay apps, coordinate with contractors and agency staff, and prepare progress reports and minutes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/ construction engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of office engineering on large heavy-civil projects.
• Experience administering submittal, RFI, and logs on active construction programs.
• Knowledge of contract docs, specs, and pay apps.
• Experience with Procore, e-Builder, Primavera P6, Unifier, Kahua.
• Proficiency with MS Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Administer submittal and RFI processes with logs and responses.
• Maintain construction record sets and ensure current approved versions.
• Review pay applications against quantities and schedule of values.
• Compile change order documentation and negotiation history.
• Monitor insurance certificates, bonds, payroll, DBE, and permit conditions.
• Coordinate document flow across active work areas.
• Prepare program progress reports and meeting minutes.
• Organize document control structure for audit readiness.
• Support schedule updates by reconciling submissions and changes.
