Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking an experienced Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Associate Principal to join our Mobilefield services team in a dynamic work environment. The CMT Associate Principal serves as a senior technical leader responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and performance of construction materials testing projects.

This role provides technical oversight, final review, and mentorship across project teams while supporting business development and operational performance.

Qualifications

• 8 years of related experience with a professional engineering or geology license or 12 years with certifications
• High school diploma or GED; B.S. in Civil/Geology-related field preferred
• Maintain licenses/certifications per ECS policies
• Established technical expertise in CMT principles, applications, and ASTM standards
• Strong leadership, client relationships and multi-project oversight capabilities

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and oversight for geotechnical projects across the organization
• Perform final technical review of reports, calculations, and deliverables
• Ensure quality and timeliness of project deliverables
• Mentor Senior Project Managers and staff
• Support proposals, contracts, and business development
• Lead technical discussions with clients and project teams
• Oversee departmental operations and financial performance
• Assist staffing decisions and team development
• Contribute to client relationships and cross-functional support
