Job summary

ECS Group of Companies in Atlanta invites an experienced Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Principal Engineer to join our field services team. You will oversee CMT projects, review reports, and guide the department from proposal to final review, ensuring quality and client satisfaction.

The role requires a PE or PG license, 12+ years of relevant experience, senior reviewer designation, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant experience including drafting, reviewing, and approving technical reports.
• Professional licensure as a PE or PG.
• Must have designation as a senior reviewer at your current or previous firm.
• Maintain all necessary licenses and certifications for compliance with laws.
• Strong leadership, safety, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Oversee various CMT projects, review technical report reviews, prepare and review proposals, and assist with management of your department and P&L.
• Provide technical expertise by reviewing reports and supporting staff through mentorship, training, and development.
• Mentor junior project managers and support development of your team, including staffing decisions.
• Host or attend project meetings with clients and provide technical resolutions of issues as requested.
• Market services through networking and maintain client relationships.
