Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking an experienced Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Associate Principal to join our Charlotte field services team. You will supervise project performance, consult with clients, and drive from proposal to final review to meet goals and deadlines.

You will mentor staff, oversee multiple CMT projects, and help grow ECS client relationships while supporting career development and possible advanced certifications within the organization.

Qualifications

• Must have 8+ years of relevant experience including drafting, reviewing, and approving technical reports.
• Professional licensure as PE or PG is required.
• Senior reviewer designation at current/previous firm is required.
• Maintain all necessary licenses and certifications for compliance.
• Must have valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance if driving for ECS.

Responsibilities

• Oversee CMT projects, review technical reports, and assist with department P&L management.
• Provide mentorship and development for CMT staff.
• Mentor junior project managers and collaborate on staffing decisions.
• Lead client meetings and provide technical resolutions as needed.
• Market ECS services and maintain client relationships.
