Job summary

ECS Group of Companies, Mobile field services team, seeks a CMT Associate Principal to provide senior technical leadership for construction materials testing projects. The role emphasizes final review, technical oversight, and mentorship across project teams while supporting business development and operational performance.

Qualifications

• 8 years of related experience with a professional engineering or geology license, or 12 years with certifications.
• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering and Management, Materials Science Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Geology preferred.
• Maintain required licenses/certifications per policy.
• Strong expertise in CMT principles and ASTM standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight for geotechnical projects across the organization.
• Perform final technical review of reports, calculations, and deliverables.
• Ensure quality, accuracy, and timeliness of project deliverables.
• Oversee project performance and support issue resolution at a strategic level.
• Mentor and develop Senior Project Managers and staff.
• Support proposals and contract review during business development.
• Lead technical discussions with clients and project teams.
• Contribute to staff staffing decisions and team development.
• Provide cross-functional technical support to adjacent service lines.
