Job summary

Hargrove delivers complex construction projects nationwide from Madison, AL. The Construction Manager will oversee safe, on-time delivery of moderately complex projects, coordinating with design leaders, field teams and clients to meet scope, budget and quality expectations.

Ideal candidates bring a minimum of 10 years of industrial construction management, a strong grasp of project controls, and a General Contractor license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Construction Science, Building Science or related field preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant industrial construction management experience.
• General Contractor license preferred.
• Ability to lead a small team and deliver commitments.
• Knowledge of company standards, project controls tools and engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver services safely, on time, within budget and meeting quality expectations on moderately complex projects.
• Lead project scope, specifications, design criteria, and coordination with design leaders.
• Ensure contractor safety and compliance with zero-accident goals.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers and staff to ensure timely progress and quality decisions.
• Review vendor drawings, submittals and schedules and communicate changes promptly.
