Job summary

Project Solutions Inc. seeks a Construction Inspector to provide full-time independent inspection and quality assurance oversight for a UESC modernization project at the U.S. Coast Guard Yard in Baltimore, MD.

The role covers from Notice to Proceed through closeout and commissioning to ensure safety and contract compliance. Responsibilities include documenting progress, coordinating inspections with stakeholders, and supporting final acceptance and closeout activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of construction experience as a Construction Inspector, Contractor Superintendent, or Quality Control Manager.
• Minimum 5 years of construction experience with a qualifying degree/certification combination as listed (PE, PMP, QA/QC).
• Candidates must document all education, certifications, and training with issuers.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time independent construction inspection and QA oversight for the UESC modernization project.
• Monitor contractor work for compliance with plans, specs, codes, and regulations.
• Conduct site inspections and surveillance of ECMs, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Document deficiencies and track corrective actions through resolution.
• Maintain inspection records, daily reports, photos, and project documentation.
