Job summary

GoldenWolf is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Inspector to provide full-time, on-site construction inspection and QA support for a major UESC project at the U.S. Coast Guard Yard in Baltimore, MD.

The role requires monitoring construction activities to verify compliance with drawings, specs, codes, and contract requirements, with hands-on field duties and documentation via Procore. This is a multi-year program demanding vigilance and independence.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret complex construction drawings, specifications, submittals, and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with Procore construction management software.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local construction requirements and building codes.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site inspections and quality assurance surveillance of active construction and demolition.
• Verify workmanship, equipment, materials, and installations against drawings, specs, submittals, codes, and contract requirements.
• Inspect multi-discipline work: mechanical, HVAC, electrical, controls, energy, civil, utility, and building systems.
• Maintain deficiency logs, punch lists, and photographic documentation.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inspection reports and review test/certification documents.
