The role includes liaising with GC accounting, resolving disputed billings, and supporting cash flow projections. The ideal candidate has extensive construction billing experience, manages lien waiver processes, and maintains robust documentation across portals like Procore or Textura.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of accounts receivable, billing, or collections experience in construction or subcontractor work.
• Proficient in QuickBooks Enterprise or comparable construction accounting software; advanced Excel skills.
• Proven track record of reducing aged receivables and resolving billing disputes with GC accounting teams.
• Professional, direct communication style; able to engage GC accounting teams, project managers, and leadership.
• Independent, proactive problem-solver able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit progress billings and contract-specific invoice formats for active and completed projects.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to validate percent complete, change orders, and schedule of values accuracy.
• Manage billing schedules across multiple GCs with different draw dates and portal requirements.
• Review contract terms for billing requirements, retainage provisions, and payment conditions.
