ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking an IT Configuration Manager to lead CMDB design, governance, and data quality across enterprise IT environments in a federal setting.

You will coordinate with infrastructure, application, and security teams to prevent configuration drift and support incident, problem, and change processes. A SECRET clearance and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in configuration management, CMDB, or ITSM roles.
• Hands-on with CMDB tools like ServiceNow or BMC Remedy.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain CMDB data model, classes, and relationships.
• Enforce CM policies, naming conventions, and ITIL alignment.
• Integrate CMDB with change, incident, and problem workflows for impact analysis.
• Conduct configuration audits and remediation with owning teams.
• Collaborate with platform admins on CMDB in ServiceNow, discovery, and mapping.
• Produce reports and visualizations for risk, capacity, and compliance.
