Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT, CS, business, or related field.
• 4–7 years of configuration management or related IT operations experience.
• ITIL-aligned service asset and configuration management concepts knowledge.
• Experience with ITSM/CMDB platforms (ServiceNow or similar).
• Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day CMDB operations by establishing processes for CIs and relationships.
• Analyze discovery feeds, updates, and change records to reconcile data and drive corrections.
• Plan and execute configuration audits and certifications and oversee remediation.
• Configure ITSM/CMDB tools to build queries, reports, dashboards for impact analysis.
• Ensure change, incident, and problem records link to CIs for better traceability.
• Define, monitor, and report CMDB data quality metrics with governance and training.
• Contribute to CMDB plans, procedures, and work instructions aligned with ITIL in a federal environment.
