Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a Senior Configuration Analyst to support VA applications, lead CM initiatives, and migrate systems to the cloud. This full-time, 100% remote role requires deep CM and release engineering expertise, experience in regulated or federal environments, and strong collaboration skills across teams.

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 10+ years of relevant experience, plus U.S. Citizenship and Public Trust eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline and 10+ years’ relevant experience; eight (8) or more years of relevant experience may be substituted for education
• U.S. Citizenship required for this opportunity
• Public Trust (MBI) security clearance required or able to obtain

Responsibilities

• Support VA applications and migrate to the cloud
• Develop and maintain software configuration management tools for CM
• Perform CM and release engineering tasks ensuring parameters meet standards
• Design, develop, automate, and maintain productivity tools
• Design and implement build procedures to support product development
• Develop software configuration standards for company-wide use
• Train developers in CM tools and quality practices
• Provide technical guidance and solutions to complex problems
• Collaborate with stakeholders and mentor junior analysts/engineers
• Ensure compliant, repeatable build and deployment processes across projects
