Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a Senior Configuration Analyst to support VA applications and spearhead the migration to the cloud. This is a full-time, remote role with a focus on configuration management and release engineering in a federal environment.

The ideal candidate will design and maintain CM tools, develop build procedures, and train developers while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure compliant, repeatable deployments across projects.

Qualifications

• Extensive CM and release engineering experience in large, regulated environments.
• Proficient with CM practices: identification, baselining, change control, status accounting.
• Strong knowledge of development, QA, systems engineering, and DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Lead CM and release activities across multiple environments.
• Design, implement, and maintain CM tools and build procedures.
• Train developers on CM tools and quality practices.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
