Job summary

DPR Construction seeks an experienced SPW-focused professional to lead self-perform activities and integrate SPW scopes with project plans. You will work with craft supervision and project teams to optimize schedules, quality, and safety across complex builds.

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years in construction engineering, a related bachelor's degree, and OSHA 30 certification (preferred). You’ll contribute to cost control, progress reporting, and continuous improvement across projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field required.
4–6 years of experience in construction engineering or a related field required.
OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred; completion within 6 months of hire may be required.

Responsibilities

Reviews moderately complex technical aspects of self-perform work scopes, ensuring design specifications and SPW quality benchmarks are met.
Coordinates with SPW project managers and crews to resolve technical challenges and maintain productivity.
Reviews SPW drawings, shop drawings, submittals, and change orders for accuracy and alignment with SPW execution strategies.
Implements SPW project controls, including schedule tracking and cost monitoring, to support timely delivery.
Prepares SPW progress reports and field logs for stakeholders.
Identifies and mitigates risks related to SPW safety, equipment use, and logistics.
