Job summary

With a Bachelor's in a related field and 2–4 years in construction engineering, you will assist in reviews, tracking progress, QA and safety, and maintain detailed SPW documentation. OSHA 30 preferred; DPR emphasizes continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field required.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred; completion within 6 months of hire may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in reviewing contract drawings, specs, and submittals for SPW scopes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborates with SPW managers, superintendents, and teams to resolve standard technical questions on self-perform scopes.
• Monitors SPW schedules and budgets, tracks labor productivity, and reports variances for timely corrective actions.
• Supports SPW QA and safety protocols across all self-perform phases.
• Prepares SPW project docs: daily crew reports, time/material logs, equipment usage, and field changes.
• Identifies incremental SPW process improvements and contributes to leading practices.
• Participates in SPW coordination meetings; communicates progress, rates, and issues to crews and stakeholders.

Education
