Job summary

Affim is seeking a Compliance Lead to support its Compliance Testing Program and regulatory initiatives. The role involves testing, gap identification, and cross-functional remediation in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with Legal, Operations, Product, and Engineering to evolve the program, ensuring adherence to federal/state requirements and strengthening internal controls. Remote-first with nationwide opportunities, visa sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional work experience in Compliance Testing or Audit.
• Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends.
• Experience in end-to-end compliance testing activities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to clearly present complex issues.
• Strong project management, critical thinking and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing compliance testing and reporting on adherence to compliance program and federal/state regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Risk, Product, and other departments during reviews.
• Contribute to a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and timely deliverables.
• Identify process improvements and strengthen internal controls in collaboration with management.
• Coordinate execution of compliance risk assessments and control inventories.
